These days are unchanging and irreplaceable and well worth capturing. I don't capture staged photos. Although there is nothing wrong with props and poses (more power and courage to the people who do, your talents are magical) but I capture memories and in the moment bonding. Real-time memories. These are the days that are fleeting. They do not last long and as time passes we seem to forget all the little things that our sweet newborn did. The curly fingers, the clasping at their lips, discovering mom and dads' faces for the first time. Cooing and snuggling and sleeping. Every second of it is precious.
