Precious Days
The days of having a newborn baby are short. It comes and goes in such a haze that once it's over you hardly realize what even happened to you. The shock of "holy cow, I've got a new baby" finally hits you weeks after the birth. Milky struggles, new sleep schedules and LOTS of snuggles. It is all a part of life. Beautiful, chaotic and priceless.
